These folks got to build their dream house and they loved The Munsters' tv show, so they naturally followed the theme. If you have to have a house, it might as well be fun. They get to park their hearse in the driveway.

In the tv show, Herman Munster had a phone booth which rolled out from the wall so he could make calls on his old 2 piece phone.
