I replaced the old painted railing with metal balusters and fir newels and hickory treads. I also added the wainscotting.
I demo'ed the wooden railing and built the new with metal ballusters and fir newels and handrails. I also replaced all the casings and base throughout the house and several doors with arch moldings. I also added the wainscotting.
